The Ready Editor is a combination document management and authoring tool. It is a template for the collection and organization of information about your business processes. Subject Matter Experts populate the Ready Editor data base using the user-friendly format which classifies the information as a “learning objective.” These learning objectives can refer to specific skills, tasks to be performed, process steps or interpersonal interactions.
Once the
information has been collected and organized, a training specialist or
department head can select which combination of learning objectives are
appropriate for a work group or an individual.
The quick and easy selection of the objectives automatically moves the
content from the knowledge base and produces a customized training manual.
You select only the elements that are needed, when they are needed.
The Ready Editor is ideally suited to take any policies and procedures manual and create customizable documentation in electronic form or paper-based for all of your facilities. Ready Editor can be used to create training manuals for ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems such as SAP, BAAN, PeopleSoft as well as legal systems such as DOCS Open and iManage.
To get you started, Ready Editor is installed with a resident data base containing commonly used desktop PC applications. The majority of the content is from MacMillan Computer Publishing QUE Essentials library. Pre-loaded content includes:
